The Rani Chennamma Express is a daily train connecting the City of Bangalore with the Maharashtra city of Kolhapur. This is one of the prestigious trains of the South Western Railway and generally gets the best coaches and locomotives that the infrastructure can support. This train operates daily and covers a distance of 797 km. ==Route== The train makes an over-night journey to major cities in northern parts of Karnataka of Hubli-Dharwad and Belgaum from Bangalore. This train leaves Bangalore at 21:15 crossing Hubli at 05:30 and reaches Kohlapur at 12:30 after bifurcating from the main line at Miraj. This train apart from connecting major cities of Karnataka like Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Haveri, Davangere and Tumkur to Bangalore, also caters to smaller towns of Alnavar, Khanapur, Gokak (Gokak Road), Kudchi, Raibag. The busiest train of south India. (INSAT).
